How about a thread to show pictures of things we cooked?

    Show off your cooking skills!

Or, something amazing you ordered at a restaurant!

    I'll start..

I'm not a GREAT cook, but I am pretty good at a few things. I'll put my burgers up against almost anyone's.

Here are some Kobe beef burgers I made on a family fishing trip a few years ago. Fried onions, pepper jack, buns toasted and steamed.

Scotch eggs! I actually put a spin on these. They're usually made with hard boiled eggs, but I made them soft boiled. They turned out amazing! Kind of a pain in the ass, but really tasty!

They're worth the effort! It's not super hard; just kinda putzy.

1- Hard boil or soft boil the eggs, then peel.

    2-Wrap them in sausage.

    3-Roll in bread crumbs.

4-Pan fry until brown and sausage is cooked.

    5-Enjoy!

    6-wish you had made more:(

One time I made hollandaise sauce and poured it over them. Hollandaise sauce is also a pain in the ass, but soooooo good!

No she was not letting go of that chop. Red head, very stubborn, just like her dad

Did it on a Big Green Egg (indirect, raised grill using BGE pizza stone, 550F dome temp), though you can use a Weber kettle grill with similar results.

We get a seared tuna appetizer usually when we have sushi. It's browned outside, raw inside. The best of both worlds!
