Need help with door lights not shuting off.

    2005 toyota 4runner v8 limited
    Hello everyone. I have a 2005 4runner, limited, with a 4.7 V8. The other day i opened the rear hatch, and when i shut it, the door lights stay on. (also about a week ago my rear defrost stopped working to.) The rear window still goes up and down, the electric latch still works too. I am lost at this point. I check the wires by the hinges and they all look good. i can not fined the butten that turns the door lights off in the back. Has anyone had this problem before?
