I have a problem with my ignition not releasing my key. I changed out the ignition cylinder but that didn't fix the problem. The only way I could get the key to release was to disconnect the battery. I then went on to replace the ignition switch. After installing the switch, I cannot get the cylinder to install. I would appreciate any help as I'm dead in the water. Thank you in advance.

Automatic? There's a shift interlock switch that might be bad.
