What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I say gimmick but who knows. If you want to remove an odor, remove whatever is causing it. If is an odor outside, it’s coming into the cab either way.

Absolutely but not in an automotive environment. Kinda like dual zone climate controls.

 

Probably true, but the price difference didn’t really bother me so figured I’d try it out. Worse case I go back to the original Toyota cabin filter.

 

Put on RAV4 blind spot mirrors. They are super easy to install and do a great job with helping see blind spots. I have the original mirrors for sale.

Can't speak for car filters but I do engineering for commercial office buildings. My last gig was a 1.3 million sq ft building sat ontop the railroad station downtown Chicago. The air intakes were on the 13th floor but we still sucked in train diesel fumes. 1st they tried moving the intakes to a different side of the building $$$$$ and didn't work. Filter salesman sold us charcoal filters are very pricey but when added to a 3 stage filter system they cleared all the diesel odor.

I've been scared to do mine with 265s because I'm afraid it'll look like mine skipped leg day. Lol

Charcoal absolutely works, EVAP systems for example used charcoal canisters to absorb fuel vapor. In the dust/pollen filter it’s does remove some order but not from your A/C. A/C smell is from the evaporator moisture causing mildew and growth. This only filters when recirculation is off And it’s pulling fresh air.

 

Few days back I installed the OEM black LED fogs. Looks killer and price was right.

 

Yes, 265's. I plan on upping to 285' on the next set. But, I'm actually happy with the look as it is.

 

I spent $110 for the pair at Toyota of Lake City in north Seattle. I was happy. They shipped super fast and were very friendly to deal with.

 

That's the only time I get odors and it's usually exhaust odors from traffic. If the Lexus filter gets rid of that it's completely worth it IMO.

Upgraded the foglights to diode dynamics ss3 pro yellow and LED high beams.

 

Any chance you could post up a part number or are they just 2020 Rav 4 mirrors? Old ones just pop out?

 

Installed my DIY roof rack from my old 100 series cruiser to the 4Runner today. Has to do some minor fitment modifications and still have to cut down the front fairing but everything else is on!

 

I think they are 2018 but yeah they just pop out. Be sure to plug the new ones in to the heater plug. There are a few install videos on the YouTube.

 

Bought these from Kempter Kustoms, took a long time to get but the quality is excellent and their customer service is great. What do you say guys, at least 10 extra HP right?

My Rim met a rock while off-roading today. Luckily my wheels are only plasti-dipped so didn't hurt too much. But man it sounded bad!
