What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Installed a console cover from Amazon. Time will tell how well it holds up to our Ridgeback's toenails...

Wondering upgrade to headlight bulbs to leds. Have you guys seen this video? lol... I want to try this stuff. Anyone tried it yet?

That is the beauty of our sliders. We make them more customizable and give you the power to choose what you want. You can either choose dimple up or dimple down. A lot of customers will also color match there filler plates to the color of the vehicle

 

Do not use those bulbs, they are garbage. They're useless for anything other than changing colors. Your headlights work because they depend on a tiny light source in a very precise spot in your headlight housing. LED bulbs cannot replicate this, especially LED bulbs with 3 different color chips. Cleaned and Detailed the Interior.
Also changed out the Cabin Filter.

I applaud your choice of vehicles. Mine's Midnight Black Metallic ... and, Magnuson supercharged. Love the lack of chrome. Well, at least what's there is "black" chrome.

I know there's a post on here about the "hidden" storage compartment above the rear wheel wells but I can't find it. I removed mine a few months ago and today put some foam rubber in there to stop any rattling and put some bungees, clevis hooks and gloves in there.

 

Thats hidden?

 

Well yeah considering you have to pull the cover off the panel to get to it. No idea why Toyota didn't design this as storage to begin with.

When you snap the cover back over the pocket it's hidden!

I know I lost a panel clip near there when I was routing my CB antenna wire.

Yeah, pretty much. I cut the fender liner so that it wouldn't be just flopping around exposed. I might look into trying to put something in there to keep mud and rocks from flying into everything in there.

I guess if you put something small in there it would get lost. The rubber I put in there makes it so anything of any size will stay where I can get it.

 

Yup. I just clipped off the part on the cover that the screw went through. There are small hooks around the cover that hold it on.

 

Indeed it is until you pry off the cover. And it's hidden once again when you snap the cover on again. Magic!
