I can zoom in and see the edge trim, thanks. Just what I wanted to see.

In zooming in, I see the large bushing around the sway bar - is that where you disconnected the links (both sides?), and where you had a bit of a time orienting the bushings to reattach the sway bar?

I like the beer can bumper ornament.

    Cool.

Yes, you are correct. That is the part we disconnected, and fought with the bushings.

KDSS can be a pain. Disconnect the bar at the control arms at ride height and then install your lift. Makes alignment easier when done.

We waited until it was on the lift to disconnect it. Maybe that's why we struggled to get it back together. I'm not noticing any lean, and have no warning lights, though.

You won't have any issues, just a pain to line everything back up is all.

So you're saying it's less of a pain to disconnect the swaybar brackets where they attach to the lower control arms, rather than the links to the swaybar up above, and that will allow the lift installation afterwards? And, easier to reconnect?

Yep, exactly. Sway bar stays in the OEM location that way. Simply jack up under the control arms after lift install to line them back up with the sway bar and done.

Any tips on dealing with the KDSS swaybar in the rear?

Yeah, leave it alone. No reason to mess with it at all. I installed a 2.5" front - 2" rear lift spacer kit a couple weeks ago for a customer with KDSS and there were no issues at all. Used a spring compressor in the back of course which made it nice and simple. What lift are you installing?

One of three options. Currently looking at Eibach front struts and rear shocks with the front set @ .86, no lift in rear. OR, front @ 1.6, 3/4" rear spacer. Then there's the option of adding front & rear Eibach springs to make the full Pro Truck lift.

Leaning toward option 1 currently, but weighing my options if I go taller.

That is the beauty of our sliders. We make them more customizable and give you the power to choose what you want. You can either choose dimple up or dimple down. A lot of customers will also color match there filler plates to the color of the vehicle

Do not use those bulbs, they are garbage. They're useless for anything other than changing colors. Your headlights work because they depend on a tiny light source in a very precise spot in your headlight housing. LED bulbs cannot replicate this, especially LED bulbs with 3 different color chips. Please read this thread for more info: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-hid-vs-led-vs-halogen-h11-projector-headlights.589465/

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I know there's a post on here about the "hidden" storage compartment above the rear wheel wells but I can't find it. I removed mine a few months ago and today put some foam rubber in there to stop any rattling and put some bungees, clevis hooks and gloves in there. DSCN5470.jpg DSCN5471.jpg
