Since we are rebuilding our crashed 4Runner, we are thinking about putting fender flares on and wondered what others are using and how they like them.
    Would love to see yours.

I'm talking about the add on kind that are either bolted on or stuck on, just trying to keep the dirt off the Runner cause the tires stick out about an inch or so.

I have what I'm pretty sure are factory fender flares on my 92 pickup. I would think they would be the same for a 4runner. My only gripe about them is they seem to catch debris. Everytime I wash it I make sure to spray them out hopefully this helps a bit!IMG_0474.jpg

    Edit..
I know fender flares are supposed to catch debris, there is a ledge on the inner edge of these flares where debris builds up. If it were smooth I feel they wouldn't catch and hold as much debris.

I used Jungle Flares. They are fiberglass, not abs. Easy to install and look great.

Excuse the missing rear bumper ....... It's all that's left in finishing this build

I have the Bushwackers on mine. Love them but that is with 15x8 rims. I put 15x7's on it once and it did not look so good.4Ruuner front.jpg

Looks like you got Bushwackers on. The 4runners came with either thin black or thin chrome flares. Not sure about the pickups.
