Thoughts on this lift

Put together a lift I think will serve me well, but just wanted to know if anybody else has done this and has feedback or any advice. I do plan on adding UCA’s but not right away after I do the lift.

Make no sense to chance it without the UCAs since you need to go under there to replace the suspension.

If you can't get the alignment in spec you going to be regretting it.

 

I’d just do the ucas as well. I almost went with those for my lift. However I’d change the icon springs out and get the wheelers rear springs. 2” in the back might be a lil too much rake

 

What about the dobison rear springs?

 

I’ve heard good things and bad things about dobinsons. I have zero first hand experience with them though. However I personally wouldn’t go with them based off the negative reviews I’ve read. I feel like their similar to rough country. Just my two cents.

 

Gotcha, well thanks for the info! Trying to get as much feedback as I can since I’m new to the 4runner suspension aspect.

Spacer lift. Generally not good for off road.

 

Lol but gets the job done day in and day out for many. Tons of people don’t go Offroad. There is a time/place for everything...

 

Right...this thread is not the one for spacers. If you do heavy off-roading you’ll damage your components. I’m going to need more capability than a spacer lift will offer. Like you said, place and time for everything and this thread ain’t it I want to OFF-ROAD, not crawl the mall

 

If your hard core wheelin you would need/want more than FOX branded Bilstein 5100’s. Cool. I’ll see myself out now. Have fun out there.

 

mice read they don’t hold up well and their lifespan is short. A installer also mentioned that he sees people In often having them swapped out due to being unhappy. In regards to shocks and the entirety. Those coils may be great or may not. However I personally wouldn’t go with them and would spend a little extra and go with something else. I have the wheelers branded (eibach) and I’m quite happy.
