Help with N-fab Nerf on 2011 SR5?

I know, I know, install of N-fab Nerf bars should take less time than having a pizza delivered. And guys (and gals), I’ve used the forum search function and the Goog and YouTube- I’ve really tried before turning here for help.

So quickly: I ordered said bars for my 2011 SR5 from a reputable eBay seller, who contacted me after the sale to verify make/model/year, great, fine. They arrive yesterday (N-fab factory box) and look great, but include no hardware (new bolts) or instructions.

But I’ve watched install videos and figure, fine, I’ll just back out the factory screws and -if they’re in good shape- just reuse them, or if not, go buy some new ones at local big box.

So I get under there and see a bracket of sorts at each set of screws (see below):

Now, I haven’t seen these three brackets (on each side) in any of the install videos I’ve watched, so as one does, I start Googling/YouTubing.

The closest thing I can find is a mention in this forum from an N-fab install thread in 2015 in which user DAGNABIT writes,
    “No spacers
    10 - 15 trail
    14 - 15 SR5, PRO

    Spacers or rocker trim
    10 - 13 SR5
    10 - 15 Limited”

So, do I gather correctly that -given I have a 2011 SR5- those brackets are holding on rocker trim? And if so, can I... just go get some same-width but longer (backed out factory bolts aren’t long enough) bolts and bolt the nerf bars right up against those brackets? Or do I need a spacer kit if I don’t remove the rocker trim (and related brackets)?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.

There might be some helpful information in the following video, which shows the removal of the rocker trim on a limited:

I had some N-FAb non step fake sliders for a couple months and they bolted directly to the body with existing bolts.
Do you not have silver bolts along the underside of the body?
I never had to remove any rocker trim.
