Is it? I own a 2020 too and I was able to find information by myself!
Why I care? I think it’s a little bit disrespectful to ask for everything.
anyways it was just a friendly advice

Agreed. I’ve done my fair share looking for more info on the 2020 (specifically my SR5 premium) and looking at other forums as well. There is not a whole lot of information on it. It’s a shame they made the 2020 top garnish different. Anyways, I ordered from McGeorge and receiving the grill tonight. Probably won’t install until the weekend.

dude, there is so much different info about that...
I found more then one that painted the aftermarket garnish and it failed after one year, they claimed to put effort in preparation... who knows! So take you time and pay extra attention to prep and primer. The gap is minimal bigger but I wouldn’t worry about that.
Basically you’re right, the price is insane and even the aftermarket isn’t cheap for what it is.
Unfortunately the 2020 model is different and it’s not only a notch out for the tss!
But since you don’t have to deal with that...

To the OP Did you ever get your parts? Boch toyota is right down the street from me, and I was just curious if McGeorge ever got them to you. I'm in the market for a 2020 TRD off road and looking to make the same switch

Yeah, I received mine in about 2 weeks. Was over the Holidays. Was packaged really well.

No complaints whatsoever! Will order from McGeorge again!

Awesome. I messaged McGeorge but they are saying I need to provide a TRD Pro VIN number in order to get the parts?

I can't find the 2020 pro grill anywhere! Driving me nuts and i don't feel like notching something out with a dremel!

No need to message them - just order from their website using the two part numbers in this thread. The VIN is not required when ordering from their website. After ordering, I received an email that said the parts were on National backorder and they would let me know when the status changed. A few days later, I received another email saying the parts had shipped - this was over the Holidays.

Hat is tipped to McGeorge Toyota. EB Boch Toyota was also around the same price; however, the shipping cost was considerably less at McGeorge.

I purchased a T4RTRDOFP with the XP Predator package. When I put a deposit down I asked if it would have the Heritage/TRD Pro grill and was told yes. Of course, when the vehicle came in it did not have the grill. I was told that the Pro grill would not work because all of the new safety features. I was frustrated but still made the purchase.

Today, I completed my purchase survey and listed that as the issue with the purchase. The general sales manager has called and left me a message to discuss. Unfortunately, we have not been able to connect yet. Hopefully I can have confirmation from my question below on the grill parts before talking to the GM.

My question is, are there any known issues with the parts listed working with the TSS?

    Grille Radiator Up PZ327-35056

    Yes, these will work.

No, there are no issues whatsoever w/ the TSS.

Proof: These same parts are factory installed on the 2020 TRD Pros that have TSS.

I’m guessing that the profit associated with about $2 worth of plastic is hard to resist. I put one on my previous Tacoma, but I have so far resisted the call on 2018 ORP.

I'd like to second the hat tip to McGeorge. I've ordered a number of parts from them and couldn't be any happier with how quickly I got the parts and their prices.

Not the cheapest, but this vendor has a solution on the 2020 pro grill for 2020 non-pro owners wanting to make the switch. I am debating on this to make the change to my 2020 Venture.

my sales rep at toyota said their product has a better fit than the OEM ones (based on his 4runner) for what it’s worth. But that was pre-2020. I kind of like how you can customize the front letters with trail or 4Runner. The 2020 trail buyers have something to look forward to if they do the pro style grill

Just to update. I installed the TSO pro style grill and really like the fitment of it. The letters are a pain to do and did my best to get it straight. 5648EA36-5A32-420D-AD5F-E1D58C21E0A9.jpg

The upper grille has an extension bracket as part of the kit from TSO in order to bolt the upper grille back to the vehicle. As for the middle overlay, you’re right in that there’s the cutout on the bottom so it doesn’t interfere with the TSS. Should be same, otherwise.

***Edited - I think I was just told the incorrect part #. My nameplate does not have the cut-out for the TSS!! Now i get the hassle of returning a part that has been installed!***

Just posting my findings here to give a heads-up on an additional part. My 4R is a late-in-the-year 2020 OFP - ordered 7/2020 according to the VIN on the owners' site.

I installed the following, based on part #'s rec'd from the dealer I ordered from:

    PZ323-35056 Nameplate
    PZ327-35053 Grill

When I was putting it together, two things: 1) I only re-used about 4 of the original screws when putting the color-matched top part of the grill back on, and 2) My bracket did not fit back on the new grill (this accounts for 4 of the screws not being used).

When I called back, I was given this additional part # for the bracket that I also needed:

    PZ327-35701 Grille Bracket

Hopefully this will close-out the issue, and the issue was not an incorrect part # for the upper grille. My part # on the grille is different from one I've seen up above, so I'll be a little worried until I see it work!

TerryG, these are the parts that I got for my 2020. I just installed it earlier this week. Everything's correct.

    PZ323-35058 Garnish Front Bumper
    PZ327-35056 Grille Radiator Up

I can also say that the below is incorrect for the 2020. The place I ordered mine from sent me this by accident instead of the correct garnish front bumper. The difference is in the last digit. It is the part that is appropriate for 2019 and earlier.

    PZ323-35056 garnish front bumper

I don't know what PZ327-35053 Grill or PZ327-35701 Grille Bracket are. And the first part number you listed, PZ323-35056 Nameplate, is the exact incorrect one I described above. It's incorrect because it doesn't have the cutout for the sensor. Good luck removing it from your 4Runner since you already installed it. Yikes. I hope you have a heat gun, and I hope they'll be understanding about the used up adhesive.

Check out my topic here for some tips and tricks that I figured out along the way. https://www.4runners.com/threads/grill-upper-trd-pro-heritage-grill-installation-info.15345/

Oh, and since you mentioned screws, that reminded me about removing screws from the original grill upper. I believe there were 5 screws that exclusively used for holding in the chrome pieces. You don't have to remove them when transferring the painted piece from the old grill upper to the new grill upper. There's no place for them in the new grill upper. I actually removed 4 of the 5 screws for the chrome and wondered why I had screws left over. Then I realized that the screws went to the chrome, so I knew I didn't miss anything.

Also, watch this if you haven't already. It goes through the process. It's for a pre-2020, but it's close enough. https://youtu.be/wbNobSmmrME

Thanks Gamma Ray! Great info. Since the garnish was incorrect, it makes me not trust the grille part #....especially since it does not match yours.

MAYBE though....since my rig is an ORP (looks like yours might be an SR5/SR5P?) and came with some chrome in the grill - chrome logo + chrome strip on both sides. I'm wondering if that grill has a different backside that would cause me have a different bracket from factory....which would then result in me needing a new one to fit the upper.

Yes, this is going to be a whipping to untangle this mess...not to mention remove and return. My only hope is that since they provided the part #'s to me, we will all be good-to-go. They have a good reputation, so I'll stay positive until I see otherwise! Oh, also...they are local, so i can remove and go discuss in person.

You're welcome, TerryG. I hope all the info helps.

I went clicking between SR5 (mine) and off road premium (yours) on the Toyota website, and the relevant grille upper part looks the same between the two. Mine had the same sort of chrome in the grille upper that you're talking about. Check it out for yourself: https://www.toyota.com/configurator/build/step/model/year/2020/series/4runner/model/8642

Also, in my research, I didn't find any difference between the parts you'd need to get between trims. There's lots of info on this forum and the other 4Runner forum. I got the part numbers from a topic on one of the forums.

Actually, here it is: Edit: It's actually in the first post here in this topic, too. Same person posted it in both forums.

I installed a pre tss grill on my 2020 TRD ORP (7/2020 build).

I did have to make about a 1/4inch cutout in the bottom of the cover plate to clear the front radar.

I also ran into the issue with the upper grill and grill support being a different mounting design. The 2020 support sits deeper into the grill while the early grill has a shallow mount. I simply cut out the shallow part of the grill, allowing the support to bolt to the upper painted portion of the grill.

There was a third issue of the pre tss grill having two additional lower tabs by the Toyota logo where there are no receiving relief cuts in he bumper. I snipped those two tabs off.

All in, cutting and measuring took 10 minutes. There was no cutting done to any of the truck, just the new grill. Once the appropriate modifications to the new grill were made it clipped in and sits snug as it was supposed to.

Update: Dealer took back all parts without trouble. New ones already here and installed - fit perfectly.

Now i need to decide to go with a Pro valance, or just take those funds (~$180) and apply toward a bumper! Hard to do right now with a 12-week wait period!
