What are your thoughts between these two Raingler cargo area ceiling storage options? Install is not a problem, I’m not concerned that that, I’m just curious about first hand experience of both. Do you wish you had gone with the other or are you happy with what you have. Did they put any thought into the side curtain airbag deployment, I’m not sure how far back they actually go? (I have 2 row but maybe it’s different on 3 row?) The regular requires disassembly and drilling to install (not a big deal) but has 6 mounting points and sits further back. The EZ Install has no drilling, 2 mounting points but sits further forward partially over the 2nd row passengers heads. I like the further back but I don’t need the beefier install as I plan to use it for soft goods, sleeping bags and pillows.

No first hand experience but I would go with the regular to keep everything over the cargo area

I would never throw anything g hard or heavy up there. It’s reserved for pillows, sleeping bags, jackets, clothe’s, sleeping pads, etc. Last thing you want is to be involved in an accident where stuff will become projectiles flying forwards towards your heads.
