2002 SR5 - Electrical issue, died mid Crank

    Hi Folks,

    I have 2002 SR5 with about 170k. I have been using for a daily driver through the winter and went to start one morning, it gave a half crank and then went totally dead. No electrical power at all. I assumed it was a fuse or relay but could not find any obvious blown fuses. Battery is new no other issues prior to this. Battery was old, and i replaced when it wouldn't start one cold morning in November. I checked connections and tightened what i could. My option at this point is to tow it to my mechanic, but will feel awfully stupid if it is something simple. Any ideas? Is there a fuse or relay somewhere that would kill all power? Maybe start with new battery cables?

    Get your battery checked. You may have gotten a bad battery. Are your cables corroded? If they are, clean them real good. Make sure your cables are tight. If you can move them, then tighten some more.
