Disable DRLs when parking lights are on?

When I select parking lights on the DRLs come on as well. I want to keep the DRL feature but don't want them on when I put the parking lights on. Is this possible to do?

 

On my '20, I was able to disable the DRL through the menu/settings feature on the head unit.

After disabling them, the parking lights work independently, as they should from the turn indicator switch.

 

What trim level do you have?

 

‘20 TRD ORP.

 

Thanks for letting me know! I ran downstairs to try it out and it disables them entirely. Even with the stalk switch set to DRL they don't turn on. Talk about a strange feature! I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too lol

 

NP! Turning the low beams on would be similar to DRLs.

I’d like to find a way to run the parking lights and OEM fogs. On my last Jeep, I bought an AEV ProCal and it had multiple features...one of which allowed you to select from a variety of ‘DRL’ options, including OEM fog lights. Is there something similar for the 4Runner?

 

Interesting, had no idea that was in there. Will have to check it out.
