    Hi all
I have a odd question, I have a 97 4 runner with a 4 cylinder. It is a standard and sometimes when the revs go about 3000 rpm it makes a odd noise like something is kicking in. I thought maybe the clutch is slipping, but now i think maybe the computer is doing something to make the noise, like a extra motor is kicking in.
It has been doing it since i have had the truck, about 40,000 km ago.
    Any ideas?
    paul
