Just curious if anyone has gotten this functional? If you have, how did you deviate from the link below?

I picked up an OBDLink MX+, downloaded the free OBDLink app for my Android tablet, downloaded the free add-on PIDs for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion, followed instructions here, but cannot seem to get any psi readings no matter which of the "IDx Tire Inflation Pressure" PIDs I select (there are 4 for each ID1, ID2, ID3, ID4, and ID5).

In addition, none of the selected "IDx Tire Inflation Pressure" options shows me "psi" as a unit they all show "inHg" and the values stay at "0.0"

I even took my tablet out on a short 10 minute drive today to see if that would make a difference in obtaining realtime readings. It did not.

Apparently this combination of OBDLink MX+ (not the older MX) with the OBDLink app and the custom add-on PIDs allows one to change settings (aka program) and behaviors, but before getting to that I thought I'd just look at some custom PIDs.

The tablet pairs just fine with the MX+ and it shows me other realtime vehicle readings.
I know my TPMS radios are working well, since I can read them with my Autel TS508.

Answers for the curious. This is the missing piece to the instructions linked in the previous post on this topic.

This was tested on 20 Feb 2020 using:
    a Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2
the OBDLink Android app on the S2 (with Toyota, Lexus, Scion Add-Ons installed per the MX+ user manual instructions)
    an OBDLink MX+ (f/w v5.3.1)
    a 2019 TRD ORP 4Runner

Yes, the OBDLink MX+ can read TPMS real time pressures with the vehicle stopped or moving, but it has to be running, not just with the key to the On position.

**The following assumes that you have already installed the Toyota, Lexus, and Scion Enhanced OEM Add-Ons in your OBDLink app**

    (1) Set Vehicle Parameters
    - (a) Open OBDLink App
    - (b) DO NOT Connect to MX+
    - (c) Select Settings
    - (d) Select Vehicle Editor
    - (e) Enter your vehicle information
    - (f) For the Enhanced Network setting you MUST select "Prompt"to toggle between what you want to perform
    - (g) Take defaults for the rest of the pages values if you do not know what they should be (I changed Engine Size and Fuel Tank Capacity only)
    - (h) Hit the back button

    (2) Update MX+ Firmware using OBDLink app
    - (a) Plug the MX+ into your OBD II port (and Open OBDLink app if not already Open)
    - (b) DO NOT Connect to MX+ (Disconnect if already Connected)
    - (c) Select Settings
    - (d) Select Firmware Updates
    - (e) Select Check for Updates
    - (f) Select Update Firmware if there are any
    - (g) Hit the Back button

    (3) Set Units Preferences
    - (a) Open OBDLink App (if not already Open)
    - (b) DO NOT Connect to MX+ (Disconnect if already Connected)
    - (c) Select Settings
    - (d) Select Preferences
    - (e) Select Units
    - (f) Select "psi" for Pressure (set any other units for your Preferences on this page)
    - (g) Hit the Back button (and change any other Preferences as desired)

At this point you should be ready to Add a Dashboard and Displays

Hit the Back button until you reach the main page.
    Tap the Dashboard icon
In the lower left corner tap the vertical ellipses to open the menu
    Select Add Dashboard
When the new blank Dashboard is shown, Open the menu again

    Select Add Display
In the Display Type pop up, Select Digital Gauge for the TPMS options
Select Dark from the Built-Ins (it'll be a bit easier if you want to replicate the borderless, colorless background display style)
In the next pop-up, ignore that it displays Vehicle Speed, and select the Item drop down menu (vehicle speed with a down arrow next to it)
On the Select PIDs page, Select Toyota, Lexus, Scion (If this doesn't show, you haven't correctly installed the Toyota, Lexus, and Scion Enhanced OEM Add-Ons)
On the OEM Add-Ons Select PIDs page, Select Tire Pressure Monitor in the Tire Pressure Monitor section
On the OEM Tire Pressure Monitor Select PIDs page
    - the TPMS PIDs that worked for me were the ones closest to the bottom of the page
    - so I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page and then back up slowly until I found the first 'ID# Tire Inflation Pressure' PID
    - ID5 was my spare
    - ID4 was my Right Front
    - ID3 was my Right Rear
    - ID2 was my Left Rear
    - ID1 was my Left Front
    - Don't worry if you get something wrong, you can fix the settings and everything else later once you get a feel for the way this app works
    - Selecting a PID simply puts a check mark at the far right side of the page, when you have done that, Select Done at the top of the page
    - Tap the title and change the text to something shorter that will display better e.g. "Spare PSI", "RR Tire PSI", etc...
    - Tap Done on the virtual keyboard
    - Tap OK to save that Display onto your Dashboard
At this point, if you want to change the display format for this type of Display Item, follow the instructions in the link instructions in the above post
    - To show the Display Edit options tap and hold on the display you want to format until the Edit Display pop up appears
    - Select Style and then make your edits, like the link above, I set mine similarly
When you have your display style created and named, you can select that style from the Digital Gauge Select Item menu for future Displays

Go back to the Select Add Display section and repeat for the rest of your TPMS PIDs, except select your personal Display Style

You can Add another Dashboard and more Displays as you wish

Remember that Prompt setting for Enhanced Network settings above?
    To view your TPMS data
    - Plug in your MX+
    - Start your vehicle
    - Open the OBDLink app
    - Tap Connect
    - From the Enhanced Network settings, select Tire Pressure Monitor and Select Connect
    - Tap the Dashboard icon
    - Swipe left/right to get to your TPMS dashboard and view your pressures

    Select TPMS Network

Can't say what's up with the Spare tire TPMS yet, need to look into that

None yet but looking for some
I can also confirm it works with the OBDLink MX. I paid $9.00 for the enhanced diagnostic codes.

Did you ever figure out why it reads -14.5psi? That's what I'm getting also

Sorry for the late reply, no, I never did figure out why it reads -14.5 PSI.

My guess is it was programmed with the initial float value to be at zero absolute pressure before a readout can be obtained, which is around -14.7 psig (gauge pressure) at sea level. The 0.2 psi discrepancy, I'm not sure, it may be compensating for altitude but I doubt it's really that sophisticated. The discrepancy is most likely conversion rounding error, as the program was likely written to calculate pressure in a different unit, likely metric.

    That's my unproven theory.

Is there any way to display TPMS on one screen and other OBD gauges (eng, trans, temps, etc) on a separate page\dashboard? Since TPMS is on a 'separate' OBD network, I cant seem to mix gauges. I may be missing something, but seems like there should be a way to easily switch profiles (TPMS vs other enhanced telemetry) without a ton of config changes or disconnect/reconnect. I'd like to do this when off-roading with a click or two, at the most. THX
