I will look around. So far I haven’t put mine in the mud and we rarely get snow. I’ve had it almost for a month but if it’s a aggressive looking road tire you are looking for they aren’t bad. Mine is 2wd so I will likely keep looking for traction and highway, after all it’s only 2 wheels turning and can use all the traction it can get.

I recently put a set on my son's Wrangler. They haven't had them on long enough to determine treadwear but they were nice and grippy in the rain this past weekend when I pushed them a bit. And to honest I was a little surprised by that.

Are you referring to the Mud Grappler or the Trail Grappler M/T?

Those look great! How are they on road at 80 mph?

I am referring to the Mud Grapplers. This was back in 2006 before the Trail Grapplers were out. I wouldn't want to run the Trail Grapplers in the rain or snow (there just isn't enough siping). Btw the Mud Grapplers are heavy as hell!! (I was running 33x12.5r20)
I still believe that the best all around tire (except for ice) is the Goodyear Duratracs. Even the 35" ones on my Dodge don't feel as heavy as the Mud Grapplers. They are not a true mud tire but have nice deep lugs & they self clean with a quick spin of the tire.
Sorry for the long answer. I love tires & how they can make a plain vehicle just pop with the right tire.

    Brett,
What tire did you decide on or did you decide to run those down before getting new ones? Very curious about your choice & if you are happy with them.
    Please, update us.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

Surprisingly, they are not bad, but in town when i am slowing down they hum a little tune. I have been running MT & AT tires for so long it doesn’t even bother me.

I had Ridge Grapplers on my 17 Tundra and now considering the Trail Grappler for my 20 Tundra. After reading almost all 140+ reviews on Nitto's website they seem to score pretty good in wet and snow. Either way still not sure about tires for my wife's 4runner, thinking General Atx and possibly the X3 for my Tundra. God picking tires and sizes drives me nuts!!!
