Anyone experience issues with their touch screen?

My touch screen will not work on the bottom left portion... I cannot put in an address by touch screen, nor can I adjust anything on the bottom left section of the touch screen.

    Real annoying.

Haven't had any issues. Call your dealer.

In my '14 4Runner I had 4 radios in 3 1/2 years because of that exact same issue. Traded it in on a 2017 limited and within 8 months it went bad again. Replaced it under the warranty and in 1 month the entire radio quit. Taking it in today to see what happened this time. This if my last 4Runner!

That sucks, dude. I'm hopeful that this is not an ongoing issue. Once replaced, my radio and touch screen have been working real well. Hope you find better luck with your runner. I absolutely love mine.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
over the radio? I understand its frustrating but if the head unit was my only complaint I would swap it with something aftermarket and enjoy the 4runner

My Source button doesn't work sometimes. I'll have to get it checked.

Just got back from wasting 3 hours at the dealership. The radio is getting power, but they have no idea why this radio won't work. I have to bring it in next week and leave it with them for another whole day!!! I'm so sick of 4Runner radios, I'll trade for a Jeep first chance I can get. The dealer has been great, but the product has a problem

Wait until the trans goes out on the Jeep at 80,000 miles. You'll be wishing you just had radio problems.

You might want to research the Jeep a bit.... there are many issues that Jeeps have... I took a good look at the Unlimited Rubi's before I bought my 4R... I actually had an '87 Laredo way back when and absolutely loved it but had to get rid of it when the kids came along... Now that the kids are grown and gone I have the option to choose a Jeep again. After talking to a coworker of mine that has a '16 Unlimited Wrangler... and hours of online research... I decided to go with Toyota... my buddy will not buy a Jeep again.

I had Jeeps until they got crazy on the pricing, then I went to th 4Runner. What I really loved about the 4Runner was the trade in value. I trade every 3-4years. This is my 4th one and It was fine until they went to the touch screen. Right now it's in the shop with a radio that won't do anything. It's a small thing, but very annoying. I've spent many hours sitting in the dealership. Of course the corporate office says there's nothing wrong with their radios.

I definitely get it... gotta be pretty frustrating to have them to act like nothing is wrong when it's pretty obvious there is... stuff like that probably terrifies them.. if it balloons enough could turn into a recall..?

My 2017 Limited also had touch screen problems. It was replaced under warranty about 6 months ago, but the new one is now faulty as well. Has anyone else had their new replacement also cause issues?

Sixth head unit in six years. The explanation I'm getting from Toyota is my cell phone is incompatible with the radio. Just got another unit and bought an iPhone 11. If this doesn't work I don't know what else to do. The dealer tech said he's seen a lot of this problem. Seems to me Toyota should dump Panasonic and go to another manufacturer.
The closest thing I can come is that a phone charger used in the vehicle causes electronic interference with touch screen. I'm no electronic guy, but I'd love to know the answer. I can't believe other companies don't have the same problem. I wish they'd get rid of the touchscreen and go to a "mouse". My wife's Lexus has one and we've never had a problem.
