Hey folks, i would like to share this recent, problem, as well as my resolution.
I did search the internet as to my issue, but the threads seemed to lead to a dead end. Nobody ever said whether they resolved it or not. Perhaps this info will help.
I am new to the forum, if this posting is in the wrong area forgive me.

    92 T4R Master Window Switch
Problem - would not operate any of the windows. All Pass doors Windows were operational.
    Mirrors and lock were functional.

In my case, probing the wires for continuity from the Master Window Switch connectors to Junction Box connectors at the lower left of the clutch pedal indicated one wire with a failure of continuity.
Pin probing for continuity through the dead wire in like 6" increments, lead me to the section at the door edge, through the rubber grommet to the Junction Box.

It left me with no choice but to pull the wire harness out the door and out of the J-Box completely.
On the work bench I slid the rubber grommet away to expose the broken wire. A simple solution to solder in a repair piece was simple.

The Master Window Switch is again operational. It is true, are a few other things to consider, the Door Controller, and fuses. But this was my issue.

Thanks Brother, I know that these forums have been around along time. The 2nd Gen - kinda a dying breed.
Regarding this problem, my searches, well they just kind of came to a dead end. Some folks had the same issue - but it never lead to a resolution. Perhaps this info could help someone.
For me - I honestly never thought the broken wire would be the case. A fuse, a door controller, hell even the FSM calls out a "circuit breaker" as a potential problem.
I hope it can simply help someone else. I love my T4R 24+ years of ownership. 368K.

I have had mine for 25 years now but only a bit over 145K miles. I need to sell a few things on ebay so I can buy a window relay controller to fix my tailgate window issue. It goes down but won't go up.

I know that there are a few old threads out there that talk about the rear controller. If you are certain the controller is the issue I know you can buy those Omron relays that are one the board from .99 cents to $2.99 and solder them in if want to give that ago.

I would love to do that but my soldering skills are none existent and finding someone to do that in this area would be difficult at best.

EBay is not your only source. Here's what I like to do.

    Go to Google
Type in the search feild - SEARCH ALL OF CRAIGSLIST - Enter

From that search engine type in
    90-95 4Runner parts or 2nd Gen 4Runner parts
You can reach out world wide and nationwide.
You may find someone with the rear window controller for next to nothing.
I found my swing rack, pristine with licence plate holder and tailgate this way this past summer.
    Neither were listed on Ebay.
