I see you are almost as hard headed as me, i made my item work, but that is not the way it should be. Kind of disappointing that it has come to this. All the best to you Jenn.

when it wasn’t clear in the product description that it won’t fit with the 3rd raw...
Jennifer take it off, send it back and get a refund. I’m sure they’ll agree and next time you got something like that - don’t try to fix it my dear, it’s expensive enough so it has to fit to begin with.

Ok so it looks like none of the hardware is lining up because the D-pillar is pushing it out of alignment. I'd return it and go with a compatible product.

Got ya, guess I should have read the whole listing lol. Anyway, I agree, they do look good and I've had them in my cart a few times but never pulled the trigger. I'd need the radio panel, steering wheel panels, and console also and it got a little expensive.

Ripped the TRD roof rack off last weekend and just got her tinted! I love the clean look of the slick top.

I really like the looks of the TRD Pro rack personally... I like how the 4runners look with them on.... Though i cant see what it would be useful for. Maybe cargo carrier boxes or something? I have never actually even seen one online with stuff on it...

The full length racks i can see being very useful, kayaks, skis, surf boards ect.... but im not a big fan of how most of them look. Its a catch 22. Look good but be less useful, or be useful and not look as good. Id put a pro rack on my 4runner and not even use it, just add it for the look of it... But the price of them makes that not logical. Id do it if they were like 200 bucks... But much more than that is a NO GO from me.

Slick top doesnt look bad at all, though i feel like its missing something on it LOL

I like my full length rack, it helps with oversized stuff like my Christmas tree here. But, I am biased.

Yep. I'm normally a diehard traditionalist that demands a real tree, but this was marked down so much we decided to pull the trigger. The integrated adjustable lights save time and it'll be nice not to have to pay $60+ to kill a living tree every year. I realize it's more sustainable to visit them in the woods.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
These look very cool but I'm not a big fan of CF. If they had them in black it would be a no brainer for me. I searched and they only have CF, silver and (uggggg) red.

The smell of a real tree is nice. One year at the family Christmas at the brother in law's house they had a real tree. It was big and nice until Christmas morning I discovered some things moving in it. The entire tree was covered in tick eggs and because of the nice warm house some were hatching. Needless to say the tree, all the presents, lights, etc., wound up in the front yard in about 30 seconds. :D

The key word here is "mainly". The carbon fiber design is very apparent and I personally don't care for it. I would like plain, gloss or semi gloss black. No pattern at all.

Oh I didn't realize all the new models were doing carbon fiber. I'm glad I got a 16 Trail before they started adding CF. I like real carbon fiber as well but the imitation stuff just seems chintzy to me.

I meant that these covers were a CF pattern. I would buy them if they came in gloss or semi gloss, no CF pattern.

2015-2018 TRD Pro and Trail models had exactly that. I looked into swapping over all plastics but the cost was far from worth the benefit. Once they get older and end up in scrap yards I may do it since the plastics will likely be very cheap.

    Oh.

Just go to a junkyard and find a Trail model then, and pull all the factory pieces to swap. Look up car-part.com as a database.

This post will give you all the information you'll need, including part numbers. (some of the part numbers have been replaced by new parts from Toyota but you'll be able to see the new part numbers when you pull them up on Toyota site.)

Additionally, I used Teflon tape on the bolt threads and silicone under that both heads to prevent leaks -which I'm paranoid about.
