It’s time consuming, but just sign up for TIS (Toyota techinfo). $20 for two days. Download to your heart’s content. I paid my son $5 to download every single 5th gen PDF. Then you’ll have the entire FSM.

    You mean propeller shaft?

not does propel you forward or in reverse so I can see it.

Hood, Bonnet. Trunk, Boot, windshield, Windscreen.

Hey Hey Hey.... "Most European Countries" in my book are the ones that matter. For Example: Ireland, UK and occasionally Sweden! Haha! Thanks for the "cup check"

Does the two-shifter set that AJT sells work with the 4R automatic shifter as well as the transfer case shifter?

It is one set of ditch lights, but the amber side shooters are independent of the white center lights. That's why I have two switches.

I recently installed ARB skid plates. Powder coated steel, set of 4 plates- installed myself in a couple hours. On Amazon for $469 and arrived in less than a week. I’m very pleased with them. I was originally going to go with the Pro TRD plate, but I’ve got KDSS and didn’t want to cut it to fit. I also painted the plastic radiator skid the OFF Road silver, which turned out well. 8264DEDA-5F4B-4259-9C0F-9F4E2091D9F9.jpg

Yeah I'm clearly on John's side regarding this situation and I feel he was done wrong. That's my opinion, others may vary, whatever....Victory 4x4 clearly dropped the ball IMO and seems to be only now concerned since it has blown up on this forum.

Just to update a little, the RCI radiator plate mated up with the Victory front skid really well. Install was pretty straight forward, except for the fact that my old bones don’t like me doing that kind of stuff, so I have to take breaks, and have a samitch & a beer. Thanks to you all for the support.

    Kevin,
    Congratulations on your new job!
Not apples to apples. However, when I lowered my '87 Toyota Supra I used Eibach springs & Tokico shocks (worked with the factory electronic suspension). The combination was excellent and handled like it was on rails!
I think Toyota may work with Eibach or they are really good about sharing spring rates & critical information. I would pair them with our T4R in a second!
    Now get to building. Lol
Glad it worked out for you.
    Ryan.

Is the RCI installed on a 4Runner at their shop or an after picture of a customer install? Could’ve been polished up and then pictures were taken to sent to RCI. :notsure:

All the skids I’ve bought and seen brand new have needed to be sanded/grinded because most fab shops expect them to be painted and not left bare. That is probably powder coat ready imo. I don’t think it has to be polished down perfect to be sent to a powder coat shop.

But that’s just my opinion. Like buttholes everyone will have one and they will all be crappy.

Also if you look at the RCI skid the welds aren’t ground down so it’s more than likely polished in some way before the bending and welding that victory 4x4 may not be able to replicate.
