    I am a sucker for the heritage grill, though.

    I’d rather spend my money on something functional.

    I haven't bought one, I just like how it looks. Everyone has their preferences on how to spend their money. Nothing wrong with those that want to spend for show, too.

    Try again.

    $7k and some change if we just talking MSRP. From the ORP to Pro.

    Don't forget majority (not all) mark up the the Pro's.

    Yep, the pro grill, heritage grill, whatever. The dealer near me had a Nautical Blue that they spiffied up with the pro grill, but paint matched it instead of it being satin black. That looked pretty nice, too. I had a pro grill on my '15 Tacoma, but the OEM Tacoma grill is nearly 1/3 the price of the 4Runner pieces.

    You forgot the lift and re-gear too...

    RTT w/ LFD cross bars = $1,800
    Tires/Wheels = $1,800
    Lift = $1,400
    Gears = $1,600
    Sliders = $600
    Misc = $100
    Total = $7,300

    Obviously those prices could vary greatly depending if you do things yourself, get Kings, basic sliders vs. powder-coated etc. but just showing that's a pretty built truck! I wanted a pro for the Cavalry Blue but decided a TRD ORD with KDSS and all those goodies above would still be cheaper and better off-road for my type of driving.

    That’s what i think, let’s take 9k difference as a basement, sure it can be higher but it can be lower here and there. If I would put that money right into tire/wheel combo, suspension and armor I have to spend another few bugs for a sticker: “please don’t jerk off next to her”!
    No bashing on pro owners, but I can’t see a reason for the bigger price tag of a pro.

    When they would add the charger so you got more power from the beginning it would be a different story

    An after you add in the fact most dealers will not go under MSRP on the Pro but will on the off road/trail, well the difference is even greater

    Yep. I got a pro for a $10,000 discount. Got my 2016 Trail for $35015 out the door after tax, tag and title. An now have way better than pro suspension, tires, skids, sliders, roof top tent etc, etc, and still below what it would have cost me for the pro

    An my RTT was $3700:eek: just saying not a cheaper tent price wise

    I only bought the Pro because of the exclusive color. Love that Voodoo blue color. If I had to get a white or black 4Runner I would just bought an ORP. I got lucky with mine found a dealer near me that doesn't mark-up there Pros. I got it for MSRP OTD.
