Hello to all from North Carolina!

Good afternoon everyone! I am retired Army (Sergeant First Class) and working near Fort Bragg. I picked up my new pride and joy last month, a 2020 4Runner Nightshade edition...and I think I am in love! I decided to keep my prior vehicle, a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali, the HP of which I love. But being 11-12 years old, I am not in love with the ever increasing maintenance bills. It runs fine so far, so I mainly use it and take the 4Runner out as my daily every third week or so. I don't mind the smaller stable of ponies under the hood at all. So far I am extremely happy with it! Anyways, I looked at all import SUVs for a few months before it came down to the 4Runner, hands down. The biggest selling point was its reliability. There is a YouTube channel that I consider very objective and I have watched all of the available videos on it from every car channel. I won't mention it here as it may be against the forum rules, but I'd be more than happy to let anyone know about it (and I am not receiving any incentives for doing so). Well, I sincerely look forward to exploring this forum and hearing everyone's experiences with their 4Runners! Thanks and we'll see ya!

Thank you for the welcomes everyone! With all of the 4Runners running around my local area, it would be nice to see a mass get together organized and get to see the different generation and trim models!
