I have a decent 12V inflator, but it takes about 10 minutes to inflate a tire from 20 PSI back up to 35.

I wanted to be able to to plug in a compressor with a little bit more power than what I tried last year. I'll have to keep shopping.

Keep us posted! I would like an air compressor without stepping into an ARB. What is the output of those vs a good tire filler compressor is?...
    Time to Google! Lol

The DeWalt 60v compressors are pretty slick. Then you can be charging a battery on your invertor.

I'm waiting for Milwaukee to make one!

I'm not a huge DeWalt fan and would definitely prefer a Milwaukee. Right before I left my last job we bought one of the DeWalt ones and I was very impressed with it. Our service trucks were all setup with Vanair but its a pain in the ass to use. E brake has to be set and have to turn the PTO on. It was fine for running air tools or running a plasma cutter but when you just need air for a second the dewalt was awesome. I think it would be perfect for airing up tires.

No doubt. Dewalt makes excellent tools. I just happen to already have a shitload of Milwaukee tools.:) i bet I could air up on a 9AH battery.

I have heard good things about Viair.
Looking at the specs, it may be good for the price. However it says good for up to a 33" tire with no time stated & no duty cycle rating.
Even the bigger model the 400 only has a 33% duty cycle! That would take 15 minutes to air up I imagine!Screenshot_20200119-232908_Chrome.jpg

Both my compressor and fridge are hardwired to the battery.

only think I’ve ever used the inventor for is charging my sons Nintendo switch on road trips.

Yeah I have never used mine on the 4. I did try it on a 2011 Tacoma I had and deemed it pretty much useless for anything other than charging things.

I miss it in the center console on the old 2010 4Runner. They came with two plugs, one in the rear and one in the center console. Didn’t have to run a charging cord to the back for shit.
