    Hey all,
My 2001 shifter is sloppy, meaning it moves a lot from side to side. It doesn't make noise when I drive as far as rattling, but it isn't tight. The linkage under the vehicle going up to the shifter looks good and all the bolts are tight. Is there any way to stabilize/isolate the shifter up top? I know I'm being picky, because it functions fine, but the vehicle is mint all the way around and it just bothers me when I grab it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You prolly need a new shifter seat bushing.

I've been looking at the URD short throw shifter for my third gen. I think I'm going to pick one up!
