Fire Extinguisher Mount

Has anyone mounted a fire extinguisher in any of these three locations? I'm considering all 3 and wondering if someone has already done it. I'm not a fan of the front of front seat mount style, I'm not willing to go to the Molle rack over the rear window and I can't figure any other good place to mount my fire extinguisher.

In my opinion the best place for a fire extinguisher is in the front. Fast & easy to get to, if you need it it is usually an emergency or close to it. Getting it out of the back is precious time. Disclaimer, i do not have one in my ride.

 

I do carry them in my vehicles. In the bed on my current Tundra, funky bedside compartment on my Titan, bed of my Gen 1 Tundra, trunk of my Celica, you get the point. The few times I put them into action or got them to be ready for action there was little time wasted. On the other hand, if you have ever seen what an accidental discharge of a fire extinguisher looks like in an enclosed small area, you might understand why I'm scared of the potential purse strap catcher in the front seat.

 

I for sure see your point, i guess we could do what if’s all day. What if you got in a wreck and was temporarily stuck in the truck, and a fire started, but your extinguisher was in the back.

It looks like the bracket/mount wraps around the "bar" in the storage area. Is that correct?

 

Yea, thermoplastic heated and bent to shape around that bar and front flat for mount joined via 2 small bolts and nuts. Completely removable without traces of install if needed.

Is the flashlight rechargeable with either power outlet that is next to it?
I may have to reverse this as our GSD would do something to mess that up. Then there is cloud of white in the car! Lol
