Gen2, Vibration. Beat Dead Horse...

    Hey Runners,
    New to Forum, not to Runners. First off, I spent multitude searching Threads to no perfect evail on my Vibration.
    My Spects: '94, V6, auto, 2wd, 31's, after market Toy wheels, new Bilstein shocks, NEW: pitman arm, inner and outer tie rods, sleeves, idler arm, steering box stout, ball joints feel stout, no wheel play. 100 miles on full alignment, 50 miles on balance and rotate, tires have 80% tread. 20k on new OEM driveshaft.
    Vibration has occurred Before and After all this steps. I observe (Seems to me) front end vibration at speedo 62 to 67mph. Add 3 additional mpg for 31's. So real 65 to 70mph. RPM does not seem to matter 2k to 2.5k (kickdown). Not horrible, BUT I Hate Vibrations... What's left?, bearings seem tight but never opened to inspect. Ball joints look to have been replaced, feel tight. Driveshaft? Vibration does not care about RPM.
    It's right at my freeway speed, want it gone, please give ideas.

    What tires? Some brands have batches of tires that don’t balance for shit. Does it vibrate in that speed range all the time or does the shake go away after driving for 10-15 min?

    You mention that you have after market wheels. The OEM wheels are hub centric. If your wheels are not hub centric, this may be the source of your vibration.

    LCE header, 2.5 inch exhaust, 31x 10.50 BF Goodrich, 15 X 8 aluminum wheels, Bilstein Shocks, 3 inch lift kit, 3M fender flares
    Do you still have vibration after the tires warm up...any tires with nylon will vibrate when cold until warmed up...additionally...tires balance varies tremendously...I would have them balanced by someone else first...it still sounds like a tire balance issue to me

    When not hub centric, they are lug centric meaning, you guessed it, the lugs center the wheel. Lug centric also means it is vitally important to torque the wheels in a star pattern while increasing the torque to correct spec.
