2020 Pro Replica Wheels (Tacoma version)

Thought we'd share these here on the 4Runner forum to get some input from 4Runner owners. We specialize in factory reproduction wheels for various makes/models and introduced a replica version of the 2020 Tacoma Pro wheel. We made some modifications based on forum member feedback and would love to get some more input from you guys since Tacomas and 4Runners share similar wheel fitments. Nice looking wheels for sure, i like the Gunmetal, it is also nice they only weigh 24lbs.

 

On the first view I would say they’ll be part of my wheel consideration.
- Light weight
- safe spot for the valve
- size and et

 

How would that width, offset/ back space sit under the fender with a stock size tire? I just don't like seeing rubber sticking out the side!

 

I think they’re roughly 18mm more out of the wheel well

I agree that these are beautiful wheels!

The only concern I see, and this would be applicable only for trucks that crawl or get out & into the rough. Is the fact that it appears the face of the wheel is protruding beyond the lip of the wheel. While they are beautiful now, one slip or mis turn of the wheel could cause major blemishes.

Again, this is just what I see from those pics. I may be wrong and once mounted they are safe.
I would love the gray set to run around town with tires for fuel economy. Then swap for off road use.

If the bottom pic is bronze (eyes playing tricks). That would look amazing on our MBM T4R!

Had a few members on Tacoma World bring up the same concern. Took some pictures to show how the spokes sit in regards to the lip. Also had another member show side angles once mounted with stock tires (see link):

I saw on Tacoma world you were going to be making some adjustments to the wheels. Has that started to make them a little more concave?

 

Sorry for the delay - we have started making adjustments to the mold. We're hoping to have these adjustments made for the next batch.

I like the gunmetal ones. What I’d like ro start seeing is a 10-12” wheel being offered in something besides a 20”. rim.
