I have a completely stock 2018 4runner and was looking to upgrade from my factory dunlap tires. I want to stay in the stock size. My question is does anyone have pictures or first hand info on 265/70/17 tires in an aggressive a/t tread or an m/t tread on a stock 5th gen? Im asking because i know some tire brands can fit a little differently depending on the tread, especially on an m/t.
I dont want to drop several hundred on tires and mounting on "stock" size tires only to find out they tread rubs or etc...
I saw the tire info thread but many people have lifts and aftermarket wheels

Although there are slight size differences, a 265/70/17 tire size is safe all around with no lift. Pick any tire you like in that size for no rubbing when mounted on a stock wheel.

I think the TRD PRO comes with Nitto Terra Grapplers. Should be lots of pics of those floating around and maybe even at dealerships for you to check out.

265/70 17s atw3 with stock suspension no rubbing and the wheels are 0 offset so they push out a little further than stock

@Anotherreject I put General Grabber AT/X 275/70 17's on my "non lifted...yet" TRD OR and have had NO rubbing issues. So I think you'd be fine with the stock tire size.

Is it possible to put the TRD Pro 17" Wheels on a stock 2018 5th Gen with Falken Wildpeak 265/70 R17 tires without any rubbing?

TRD pro’s are +4 offset with 4.5 back spacing. My wheels above were 0 offset and 4.5 bs with no rubbing so I imagine you’d be fine at +4

Goodyear Wrangler Authority tires ordered online from Walmart for $600. They look sexy, perform amazing off road, and are cheap. But, they kill gas mileage and ride a little harsh.

Should have gone with falken at3 great tire and ride is close to stock and excellent off-road plus the gas penalty was about 1mpg

I'm stock. These are stock size KO2's. They rub slightly on occasion, but I think it's due to a wider rim and negative offset.

Are those pro comp wheels? If so did you go with 0 offset or -12 ? They look good. I was trying to get those but they were out across the country so I went with a different style.

    Stock as of now....
I just replace the stock Duelers with 265/70 17 Wildpeaks on my TRD rims.
They fit fine, look great, and the 4Runner rides a little better.

I will be going to Bilsteins 5100 (.85") but that's cause i want to ... the tires are fine on stock suspension.

    Thank you!

Yes, 05's. They're 17×9, -6 offset. I had planned on getting the 17×8, 0 offset, but I changed my mind at the last second.

The kit or the shocks? I'm not looking for the 2.75" / 1.0" lift, but if there is feedback on the Eibach shock w/ stock springs i'd love to hear it.

Eibach pro kit does exactly what you want to do. I have it and it works great.
