I would say the brakes are probably wet from condensation in the morning. Once they heat up its evaporated. If it's going away I wouldn't worry about it.

Edit.. I should have asked if you park it inside it not.

4K miles bring it back to dealership. most likely the pads are sticking . under warranty so they will fix it.
I do my brake jobs and I am very careful on how those pads fit easy not binding.. also the cal pins I lube with silicone high temp brake grease.. so because I have done this over many decades I never had any squealing .. last time I had your problem was on my 1973 chevy Impala.. 3 years old ..

Brakes by design have to have no protective coating (no paint, no protection from the elements). Because of this they get surface rust very quickly. Mix heat from your last drive, a humid atmosphere as its fall, and unprotected brake discs and you get surface rust. In the morning when you brake you are removing that surface rust and the result is squeaking.

If you have diminished braking ability, squishy pedal feel, or continuous squeaking, see the dealership. Otherwise it's normal.

If you happen to let your 4Runner sit for a few days, visually inspect the discs and you will see a substantial amount of surface rust, totally normal.

I had the same issue with the squeaky brakes. Mine were most noticeable with higher moisture or humidity in the air. The dealership checked them out at the 10k service and said they are fine. I still get squeaking time to time but at 42k I figured they are still going strong enough so why worry.

Most likely surface rust. If so perfectly normal.

When parked lets say for 9 days not driven and surface rust gets scrapped off do the brake rotors get thinner they lose material even if very little?
