Just installed them today and they are 10X better than the Diode Dyanmics. The Profiles provide much more side light which really helps. These work much better than with my tinted windows. Wish I knew about these first...

 

Great news mine have been in well over a year and with little loss in brightness. I need to change the bulbs in my mirrors now.

 

The funny thing is; it's hard to tell if this is a joke, or the actual opinion of one of their salesman.

I'm surprised the 4Runner didn't come with the hitch cover. I kept the cover from my Taco for my 4Runner.

Somebody asked me to post the light output with my HIDs. This is a picture going down my hunting camp road.

 

Make sure you do something to keep it on there... I have lost two of those on the road (at least I think they flew off on the road, I know that other Toyota owners would not dream of stealing them)

Did yours have 3 inch screws on the back? I wouldn't think it would fall off, but if your did let me know and I'll add some 3m behind. Had to modify it a little bit anyways since my grille is about half the thickness then the stock so I couldn't get a good a good install.

 

I just put a little hole in one of the sides and hooked a little bungee on it and pull the other end through and hook it to the back of the hitch. RTV is probably better/easier

Noticed some chips on top of my rear bumper from my 100lb doofus of a dog getting in and out.

Got some 3M skateboard tape to put on it. Couldn't do a single strip across due to the slight contour, so used two separate strips. It works. I guess I'll find out how well it holds up over time.

 

How’s the pooch doin? You know the solvents in the tape will eat through the paint?

You can get 5” x 36” (or similar) strips of 3M paint protection film for cheap on Amazon. Off-brands are even cheaper. That’d be a good way to go on that edge. Trim to the size you need.

I have KO2's also. How are you liking them?

 

So far so good. Gate traffic coming on post was horrible so I went around down a back gravel road to a different gate. No sliding on the wet bumpy road, would have been all over the place with the stock tires. I think I do have a little bit of rub in full lock in reverse. Heard something backing out of the driveway. Not too concerned, still have the mud flaps on so I'm sure its just rubbing on there somewhere.

Have two Doctor appointments today so the rear install will have to wait.
