Yeah, the zip tie into the bolt hole was an interesting twist. That was a few minutes. We just kept pushing it into the few holes it could be until we found the right one. Very odd fasteners but it worked perfectly. Great design!

I bought mine in pieces for half the price of the kit so no instructions came with mine. Took me maybe an hour to install.

Not sure why... Works fine on my 2019 sr5. It shows that same screen but after about a minute it or 2 it connects and works.

Plugs into the gas pedal. Sprint booster or pedal commander eliminates throttle delay. Many think they can press the pedal just as fast. Not true and these work awesome. Puts pep into the step per say.

For now the trd. I'll probably go with aef? It's a synthetic washable that doesn't need oil. My only reason is the trd filter smells really bad and dosent wash off the hands for awhile
That was my problem, I read the directions! Would have been better off without.

    Stalker...just kidding:D

    Thanks,
Im attempting a less expensive approach to the CAI. I’ll know tomorrow if the Air Accelerator Horn ( The Part that goes through the inner fender) from the 3rd Gen Tacoma OEM TRD CAI fits the stock 4Runner Air box. Then I need to decide what filter to go with. I’ve had good luck with the TRD Filters.

AFE has A 15% off sale going so I might get the Dry Pro Filter: 31-10208.

It fits. Also remove the internal restrictor from inside the intake port. I did all that and then went with the AFE Pro Dry filter. Moved on to the actual TRD Intake and reused the AFE filter

The 3rd Gen TRD CAI Accelerator Horn should fit snug without a clamp. There’re two totally different parts. Thanks again.

Unlikely. The tabs that hold the accelerator on the air box are in different places between OEM and the TRD intake. Post up your findings though.

I sure will. Here’s a picture of the Tacoma TRD CAI Horn. I had one on my ‘19 Tacoma and you keep the lower air box when adding the TRD CAI. It appears to have the same notched out areas, and slit on top so I’m thinking it should fit the 4Runners air box. Have you had good luck with the AFE Filter?

It didn't fit mine which I'm sure is identical to yours. AFE filter works great, I did notice a small increase in higher RPM power when I installed it. Don't expect much but you'll feel a slight difference. I also removed the carbon filter from the top side of the air box.

I bet it’ll work with the Carista adapter. I had no problem with it on my truck, although it’s kinda slow at times (but not absurdly slow). You might have to wait 30-60 seconds to save some settings. We’re used to near instant uploads/downloads these days. Carista isn’t that quick in comparison.

My eibach lift has been delivered... Was on backorder for a bit so I'm happy it's here... Though, I'm stuck in a class right now... Couple more hours before I can go get it.

Just a word of advice in case you didn't do it already... I would spray soapy water on all of the tire caps to make sure no air is leaking out.

I made the mistake of not doing that. Everything was fine for 24 hours or so and then I walked outside to a flat tire. Air was leaking slowly from the cap. Added more air and tightened the cap, this time I tested all of them with soapy water and it's been perfect since.

Carista adapter working good with my 19 ORP. Kind of bummed I can't unlink the sunroof from the windows for the remote/door lock roll down feature.

What are the "Interior Light Control" and "External Light Control" functions?

New Weather-tech front floor liners from the group buy. Will be switching out the Decals with some off-road ones from CBoy808 over on TW. There’re a Nice darker red in person.

Also ordered a TRD Air filter from Bam Wholesale. Used coupon code SAVE10.
With the mail back running tomorrow my Air Accelerator will be delivered and I’ll attempt to install it.

Did they explain or did you figure out why you needed the adapter? I thought the Carista was OBDII plug in.
I am not sure why your sunroof isn't opening with the windows. The dealer & I believe the manual states it will. That reminds me. There is a section in the Owners manual that is all on these custom options. I believe that the "Exterior light control" manages the time the puddle lights or running board lights are on plus more possibly.
"Interior light control" probably controls how long interior lights stay on after a door is opened.
I know there is a whole section in the manual about things you can change (either with a $20 Carista or $62.50 each @ the stealership!
Please, keep us posted as I need to order one also. Oh, does the remote start work?
    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Who's they?
The sunroof does open with the windows, but I don't want it to. The sunroof can't be configured on it's own with Carista, but the dealer can do it.
Carista is an app with an OBDII adapter. The app wasn't working with my OBDLink adapter, so I bought Carista's adapter.

I figured you had to contact Carista to fix this. I thought you wanted it open (my misunderstanding). I didn't know you were using another adapter.
    Big misunderstanding!
