Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
So in other words it doesn't work on any of them unless it's specifically enabled. Gotchya.

I have never used or seen the techinfo site so i really cant say for certain. Alldata, or mitchell1 which is very similar to alldata, is what most dealerships and garage shops use. Techinfo is specific to the Toyota/scion/lexus group of vehicles. Techinfo may offer even more info since it looks like it comes directly from toyota... And i would think/hope it would provide info for newer years compared to alldata DIY, But again i dont honestly know as i havent used it personally.

Your welcome. I’m liking this mod. I went with the OEM part.
Pricey compared to the one mentioned in the link, but I always try to stick with OEM parts.

Been a busy couple of days... I worked on my suspension all day yesterday... I installed my Toytec 3/2 lift all around and finished installing my JBA UCA’s.. was at Discount Tire this morning at 7:30- was the first one in line to be in at 8 am to get my 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed, they finished up at 8:50 and went over to Firestone to get an alignment. Caster tuned in at 4.1 and 3.9 so pretty much right where it needs to be... minimal rubbing even with my Spidertrax spacers.. have to trim up the inner front fenderwell slightly... not rubbing on the front mudflats at all ... I am very happy with the results

Decided to de-chrome the badges. I went with the Graphite Rust-oleum peel stuff.

    20,000 mile oil change today.

Went ahead and replaced the air filter as well.

Moving to the Central Coast of California in a couple of days so a fresh oil change and air filter just feels good before a long haul.

Does using this to mod it void the warranty?

No. You can also get most of these things done at the dealership, but lots of them charge you for the service. They might not turn off your seat belt dinging though due to it being a safety concern.

Good to know! I have a 2020 and just ordered. The only thing I want to add is being able to roll the windows down with the remote. Guess I’ll take a look at what else I can do!

Do you need a smart phone for Carista to work?

Yes. Carista works through Bluetooth. Looks like you're going to have to get a phone! lol or use Erica's phone. Carista will work on multiple vehicles so she can mess with settings on her Subaru alsol

Download their app also. You might have to pay depending on what you want to do. Some people just pay for the first month and do what they are going to do, then cancel the app subscription. I got a one time payment to keep it for a lifetime but that was when it first came out and I don’t remember what it cost me. I don’t know if Carista still does that deal.
It comes in handy, I have reprogrammed a lot of friends and coworkers Toyota’s for them. It’s worth a free beer or two.

This one actually comes with a 1 month free trial of the paid version so that's really all I need. I'll use it on my 2016 4Runner, 2019 Highlander, and my dad's 2019 4Runner. Really once you go in there and set it up the way you want, I don't see a reason to want to go in ever again.

Just ordered one myself. Carista customize doesn't work with my OBDLink, claims my 4Runner isn't supported, so hopefully it works with the Carista Adapter.

I have not used one yet.
Can anyone who has one help us out here? It has to be a Sunday. Still, try & call support (my only thought).
That sucks. I wonder what is happening?

Trd intake. I had the Trd exhaust for awhile now. This just adds to more smiles per miles! Have no clue if it's any quicker because I have the sprint booster and was good to begin with. All I can say is intake and exhaust make this runner sound pretty darn good:)

Another advantage with the intake/ exhaust.
I did reset the mpg before a 30 mile round trip highway miles. Cruise set 55( that's the limit here in Chi town) and till now this runner has only seen 23.5. Doing the same thing. Reset meter and cruise at 55. Today is windy and 1st leg was just under 26.
So yeah I'll never see this in real life as most my miles are city. Just good to know I can hit 25

Just curious, what was your install time? We did ours in about 2 hrs taking our time & watching a 9 yr old in the process. We found the hardest part was connecting the airbox to the rubber piece that goes into the fender.
We also always follow the directions as to do it correctly and make it look as clean as possible. Yours looks excellent as well. Take the engine cover off for those few extra dB's of engine noise!

1.5hrs The hardest part for me was trying to figure out where the directions wanted me to pit 2 zip tires into a bolt hole. Found out something is bolted in them! Then whoever assembled mine wrapped the heck out of the loom with tape.
Maybe I got lucky or design changed? Part through the fender slipped right in
