got fronts on with no issues, but the top nut for rear shocks are a serious access pita.

What are you guy using to get them loose? I know its a 14 mm, but damn if it is not about the hardest access I've ever seen.

Ya, it’s tuff. And getting the nut started on the new ones is fun. Should be just enough room to get your fingers in there. If I remember correctly...

I had my wife with small hands start the nut and used ratchet wrench to tighten them up

I had same problem. Lift it in the air get both wheels off the ground gives a little room. I made a mistake of trying a ratchet wrench because some dude in a video said so.
My wrench was to thick and wouldn't make it over the stud. Used a normal wrench fit fine.
Also found out I used a strap wrench on the shock body and turned the while thing out by hand after it broke loose. Car was still new helped, no corrosion

I got this done Saturday- took the wheels off, got it way up in the air and was able to get a hand in there with a deep 14 mm on a ratchet. I wedged that against the frame, and then tried a strap wrench, but it was a no go.

Since there was no reason to worry about the old one I pulled out the biggest pipe wrench I have and that got the shock body spinning. That did the trick.

The shocks may been the originals, looked really worn, Glad I wont have to do that for while now! Thanks all for the tips.
