2008 Four Runner ac / heat temp switch

2008 Four runner

Hello everyone, I am new on this forum. I really enjoy all the discussions I have read. I need some help and this seems to be a great place to get some.
I am having a problem with my ac / heat temperature switch. I have to set the A/C all the way down to LO in order to get cold air. I blows cold no worries on that. If I adjust the temp setting any degree above LO it goes directly to hot air. All vents are working. Blower is fine. I just cannot raise the cold setting off LO. Has anyone ever had this happen?

I'd let it cool and lower the fan setting when it gets to cold.

2005 sr5 150,000
replaced 1 AC compressor at 130,000
