Hi, I am currently driving a '87 Hilux Surf in Japan and the rear Leafs are in terrible shape. I have about 3/4" of give before they bottom out. Here is the issue: In Japan, old cars are about as common as steam engines so none of the mechanics i have talked to even know where to buy a leaf spring. And doing some research on my own, nothing is even available in the country really.

What i need from you guys:

I need a source for a leaf spring kit that can ship over seas. But i do not want to lift my truck, i only want to go back to stock height. This is where im having the problems, because all the kits i find are 2"+ lifts.

Also, as im not 100% sure, what exactly do i need to replace them? I understand that i need:
    2 Leafs
    4 U bolts

    3 Bolts
    6 Bushings
    White lithium? grease

    Am i missing anything?

After that. the shocks need replaced as well, i havnt researched into those as much yet, but id like a fairly stiff ride, currently it feels like a large boat. What should i look out for for those?

    Thanks everyone!

20180801_202910.jpg Have you considered the Zuk mod?
Google Zuk mod... I've done it and liked the results on this 4runner that had the saggy rear

I ordered springs from Black Magic... simple job with an angle grinder with a cut off blade

the 2" lift.. is not a lift kit? I thought that meant 2" lift above the stock height.

Late reply I know but I'm knew...I just put on pro comp add a leaf...very short only 18 inches and they added about 2 inches of lift to the back end on my 85 4 Runner with the 85 springs...worked perfectly and they were cheap...35.00 dollars for the pair! I did have to get 4 new u bolts though so keep that in mind before you take a part and go "Oh shit" like I did. A local place in St. Louis, MO made them up in a day but I thought the old U bolts would be long enough...NOT!!!
