I am very curious about this mod.
What do you leave your light setting on the turn stalk to?
Is there a video or can you explain how it works?
Like I mentioned earlier. If you leave your lights "on" all the time & turn your dash lights to "max" you can see everything but the clock.
Kind of confused on the details, but if I can get auto lights for $10... sold & a happy wife also.
    Thanks.

Its just the dashboard and radio screen. Only works with headlights on and the illumination wheel not clicked to max. Only works with the off road/ trail premium package. The SR5, guys have had no luck do to lack of factory harness. More info here...

One tip for install I learned in that thread. I put a straw through the wire so the jack didn't slip down into the dash! To me it would have stayed there as no way I would pull the dash.
    Works great on rainy days!

Got the meso puddle lights, just waiting to trace the circuit to make my own switch

The OEM are that much brighter than the Morimoto?
I wanted them. Now... I don't get the "aftermarket upgrade" term?
    Thanks for the info.
P.M. if you want to get rid of them & I will test & post reviews.
Are you happy with OEM LEDs?
    Thanks.

I haven't installed them, won't have time till the weekend. Morimotos are good, Just more "blacked out" than I want my grill to be. I'll post up before after pics after I'm done.

Getting the tandem sliders on. By myself. 12 bolts by hand per side is tiring. Break time for alcohol

    Looks good! What size?
Are those the Goodyear Authority tires?
    Do you like them initially?
It states no milage warranty. Did you get one? Is Walmart the only retailer?
    Thanks in advance.

    Size is stock 265/70/17
They are the Goodyear Wrangler Authority tires
No idea on the warranty; I usually change tires every 20k miles anyway.
The first 50 miles on the tire was while towing a trailer and the Walmart tire center that installed them was beyond incompetent. Pressure was between 32 and 38 psi; different on every tire, and they didn't balance them properly, so the steering wheel shook at 55-65mph.

I have to take them to a different shop and have them balanced properly, then I can see how they do. I had these tires on a Jeep Wrangler before and really liked them, so I suspect they will be fine on the 4Runner once I get everything fixed that Walmart screwed up on the install. Walmart is the only retailer to buy these from. I ordered them online from Walmart and then took them to a Walmart tire center against my better judgement.

An congrats! My suggestion is to just drive it, enjoy it, and figure out what you need. You will figure out what is needed as you use it.
