I just sent the Climate control module in to be resoldered. But if I have to drive somewhere i am going to need a defrost. Can I jumper a couple of pins on the wiring connector so the defrost will run?

Not entirely sure. I'm looking in my Factory Service Manual (Electrical/Wiring Volume of course) and the wiring is kind of complex. While I did find the direct link between the A/C amplifier and the Air Vent Mode Control Servo Motor, it appears you would not only have to jump those pins to open those vents, but also jump the wiring to set the fan to on. However, because of the computerized system, setting the temperature would not be possible. I am also not sure if turning the A/C on via jumping pins is possible either. I can take some Hi-Res photos of this section of the manual if you are interested and would like to look into it further. My electrical map reading skills are limited, sorry.

I thank you - the truth is I haven't looked in the manual cause it looks pretty - impenetrable. But I will take a look see with my magnifying glass. I was hoping somebody would have tried this and been able to tell me. Thanks again for your input.
