Is that a “sandrail” with ya? My favorite, I can pee in the tank and it still runs. Go all day on one 6g tank too!!!

The sixth pic, on the right. You weld the torsion bar housing back, off of a Volkswagen onto a tubular frame. And use the front “I” beam suspension....

923F0785-1926-4908-9868-0E5F21CBB6F7.jpg excuse my garage it’s a mess....It’s actually a two car garage length wise. These are excellent hill climbers.. Even has hydraulic throttle and distributerless ignition system...

Yes, Special Construction Vehicle Title. Supposed to only drive it to shows and has to be garaged. Took two, 3rd places at the “bug out”, frame class. They can get me for not having a third brake light and no wipers/defrost...but I like driving with the windshield removed anyway...

Not true. Those things are everywhere on the east side. When I was young my Dad built one. I was his gopher. We went to the Silver Lake Sand dunes 15 years in a row for our family vacation. A lot of fun.

It's amazing how that dang dust can keep showing up after a few washes..:annoyed:

After a few washes, HAH! I have a half mile of gravel road to get to pavement. I say gravel, but it's more like talcum powder with few bits of gravel thrown in just to get thrown at the truck. LOL! One trip out and one trip back an the thing is covered with dust.

I'm retired so I don't go out every day. The inside is easier to keep clean ... sort of ... 'cept for the floor mats. Because of hard water, I can't wash it at home so it's half dirty by the time I get home from the car wash. Used to go to "show 'n shines" with my Mustang. Same thing. I'm really good with a shop vac on blow and a duster. LOL!

    IMG_0970.jpg
Typical winter look. Another "Scenic Location". LOL! No off road.

    Agree.
It's too glossy and missed the mark by a shade or two.
Should more of a muted finish.

Not super scenic, but here I am leading a Tacomaworld trail run. I set up a camping trip, hopefully to become an annual event! We had 11 trucks from as far as Nebraska! Mostly Wisconsin and Illinois folks, though.

We hit a few sections of the Pipeline trail. This area was sand and a little mud, then we got into some gravel, dirt, and rock areas. I had a lot of help from some more experienced drivers, and we all had fun.

I took the 4runner through a few spots that I was afraid of on previous solo trips. I'm constantly amazed by the capability of a stock OFF-ROAD. These trucks are nothing short of amazing!
