Hello' I am having issues with my 03 Toyota 4runner sr5 v8. I put the key in everything comes on but wount crank, had it towed to the dealership, they said moisture has build up in the fuse block under the hood and if u wiggle the relays/fuses it will start. Only once in a while
. What's the cheapest way I can go about doing this ? Either replacing the fuse block, cleaning it? Now I wiggle the fuse box under the hood and it still wount star . Dealership charged me 100$ just to diagnose.

I have 2005 SR5. I had that symptom with a bad starter. Actually, I replaced the starters (with aftermarket OK) a few times since new ($85 at Amazon).

Try tapping the starter to start. This usually works just one time on a bad starter.

Then, have a new AM starter put in. Hope your 4runner is not at the dealer. A good mechanic put my starter in while the car sat in my driveway. I keep a new starter from Amazon as a backup in my garage. Mechanic charged me $60 to come to the house and install.

I never had any fuse block issues.

Two bolts to replace the starter. Hard to get at. V6.

4runner starters (including the OEM) last 4 years IMO, so expect them to fail before 8 years of use.

It was at the dealership and they were trying to charge me 275 for a new fuse block and 585 for labor. I told them it was ok I'll take care of it (my daughters dad is a mechanic) so when I got home I told him what was going on he started messing with it and its just the EFI fus . Jesu . So crazy

WoW! Stealership almost got you. Wonder if they just replaced the fuse would they have billed you $900?
