Hi All! Newbie here so forgive me for any goofs please. My 2000 base model 4cyl needs front brake pads & new rotors. I can not do the Tundra upgrade as I have 15 wheels, or I would, new tires last year.
My neighbor works at a shop & he offered to do it $200 parts & labor. Local shop asked $300.
What do you think I should do? I tow a 1800lb fiberglass camper & need to stop! Any recommendations of particular brands & if I should have neighbor do it greatly appreciated.

I would have the neighbor do it and then put the $100 saved towards trailer brakes and a brake controller.
