You used ceramic and wax on the plastic?

Thanks for the tip!! Like i said above its impossible to stay clean where i live... The upside is i have 3 different off-road sand dunes and pits less than 5 miles from me so i get to off-road as much as i like for free LOL

The T4R will get some more love soon... But it's already had a little taste. Need some all terrain tires but even with the street tires it did well.

Always had a black 4R. I think the whites show more dirt. They just don’t look good dirty. If I didn’t like dirty vehicles I would go with the new tan color. Anyway. Dirty vehicles look cool...

Got the oil changed right at 10000 miles. Collected a sample and will send it off for analysis. Will post the results when they come in.

Also I think my drivers side front diff bearing is making the noise. It only does it around 40 mph at this time and it goes away when I put it in 4wd. Sucks cuz I thought I was done for a while. Don't know if it's even worth taking it to the dealer since it's now lifted and they will probably deny the warranty claim. Thinking I may just do the East Coast Gear Supply bushing and be done with it.

No it's in levy county. I'm about 25 minutes southwest of Gainesville. Between 2 small towns of Archer and Bronson. The pictures actually have 3 different locations all within about 5 miles of my house.

They're not public places really. Not on any maps. No official names. I've been playing in a couple of these since i was a kid on 4wheelers. They're more geared towards atvs, side by sides and dirt bikes. Some of the trails are pretty narrow. But that doesn't really stop me too much LOL

Well, it is north of Tampa :boink: I actually thought this was Gulf Hammock/Otter creek along with Citrus wildlife management area were as a kid myself used to ride dirt bikes...That sand is so distinctive of that area gives it away every time...

I had the bearing issue on my tacoma. Same symptoms, noise around 40, stops when in 4wd. ECGS bushing fixed it. Also, you don't need their special tools to remove and replace. O'reillys had a rent/borrow bearing puller and bearing driver that worked for me.

Yeah, These areas have been mined over the yrs there is a some really cool places in the Fort Meade/bowling Green/Sebring/Lake Wales that have a lot of mined areas and a SHIT load of sink holes. There used top be a HUGE Boy Scout camp in the Sebring area but it closed because of sink holes. Now I am talking about mid 70's to mid 90's...I don't know if you can get to it anymore but there is an area in the Ocklawaha WMA with cold water springs that is spectacular you can see the bottom at 100 feet.....

Yea man the biggest one That was in the area was just closed off and filled in a few years back because of idiots. Trashing it. Partying and leaving beer cans and bottles all over then getting into fights and the police get called... They closed it down.

The rest of em aren't as big but not many people know of them and we try and keep it that way. I go quite often, a few times a week, but only rarely see anyone else there. I love that.

I missed the under seat and behind seat storage from the Tacoma. Picked this up from home depot today. Fits great in the cargo area. Nice wheels on it makes taking it out easy when i need the cargo area for something else. Pretty well built for being plastic.

Holds quite a bit. I have an air compressor, battery jump box, tool kit, axe, ball mounts for the hitch, and of course some fat wood aka lightered knot for easy fire starting. Barely half full. Still plenty of room for snatch rope or tow straps and other junk.

Cost about 50 bucks with my 10% off military discount. Not bad.

I was in home depot last night but it was about closing time and they had 10 pallets of them as they were putting them out. I will maybe go this weekend and get one.

I have been looking for storage ideas since there is NO storage in these things....

Thanks for the tip on the tools, very good to know. An I am even considering just taking it to ECGS which is a 3 hour drive from me. I'm going to contact them and see what the difference in price is.

The wheels are SCS F5’s 17x9 3.5” backspace. Tires are currently 285/70’s but will be upgraded to 34’s once my ADS coilovers arrive.

No sunroof. The cool thing with this rack though is that you can still use the sunroof by just adjusting the cross bars.

Was a little bit of a challenge getting the CV axle out, but not too bad of a job over all. If you want to take it on, I think there is a pretty good write up about it over on Tacomaworld. Or possibly a video from ECGS, its been a while don't really remember.

This is @Trident904 runner. He ran our stuff on his old Tacoma as well and has been patiently waiting for the rest of his skids since he ordered before we even made them :D if that tells you anything.

Call ECGS that's going to be your fix as the new bearing the dealer would put in would eventually end up doing the same thing.

There are some good YouTube how-to vids on the ecgs bearing install. I think their tool would make it easier overall. The most important thing-- stuff a plastic bag in there while working so you don't drop the tool inside where it can't be retrieved. This will be noted in the videos.
