Phone feedback

Does anyone else have issues with an echo when using hands free? Just bought a new 4Runner for the wifey and every time I call her while she’s in the truck it has an echo when she’s using Bluetooth.

 

Before you drag the 4Runner into this have you tried blaming her for doing something wrong? If I was married I'd accuse her of using speaker phone instead of bluetooth and if she got mad I'd quickly suggest we go to Baskin Robbin's and get a baseball helmet sundae.

 

I do sometimes seem to get an echo, but not always. It's irritating hearing myself talk.

 

I do rarely get an echo. Very rarely. It happened more often in my GTI. I always figured it was a cell phone issue more than a 4Runner issue.

 

how loud is the phone over the speakers, it the volume is up too high that can cause it.

 

Got it! I’ll try that, although it’s a huge pain to have to readjust the volume on your phone every time you get in & out of the truck. If that doesn’t work...ice cream in a mini-Royals helmet sounds like the ultimate solution. BTW hopefully this isn’t a microcosm for communication within our marriage! WWTHD?
