The cap doesn't look andesite gray, but the dip on the vehicle does.

    So andesite gray dip?

Finally got around to cutting off the hook.C07A461C-445B-4627-B490-87D113A89045.jpg

And putting on the winch shackle.
1233AD85-FF52-45A1-BD6E-104F1A6C060E.jpg Also ordered a Victory4x4 full roof rack as a birthday present to myself.
    upload_2019-7-5_13-53-24.jpg
Ordered it with the blacked out bolt kit. Used a tacomaworld coupon and saved $53. Hopefully it gets here before the big trip up to Big Sur at the end of the month.

I remember doing mine when I had my taco, it took a while lot longer than I thought, and I was so concerned about burning my synthetic line I BAREY cut a gap big enough to get it off!

I think this will add about 200hp or at least get my phone out of my shifter cover.

Installed my Prinsu No Drill Full Length roof rack. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

    *Difficulty level: Moderate
    *Weight: 75lbs
*Wind Noise: Zero. (I noticed no increase whatsoever @80mph)
    *Light-bar cutout: Yes
    *Modular: Yes
    *T-Slots for Hardware: Yes
    *Crossbars included: 9

I really didn't feel like drilling holes in my roof so I went with the Prinsu full length no drill option.
I've seen some people choose to build the rack on top of their rig piece by piece. I decided to build the whole rack in my living room to stay out of the sun, then I had a friend help me lift the rack into place so I could finish bolting everything down. This went very smooth. You do have to cut the weather stripping in the rain gutters to make a place for the two front "feet" mounts that use 3M double stick adhesive to sit. Overall I'm very pleased with the install, it probably took me 5 hours from start to finish. Looking forward to mounting some gear on top.

When you can, could you measure from the roof to top of roof rack to see how much height is added?

I’m looking at this roof rack or similar, but would still like to park in my garage and height is an issue. Thanks

It is. I like doing things like this just to say hey I can do that. And it's a cool factor. Then when other 4runner people see it they are wow that's cool. Especially when i go to the dealer and they say that.

Just the front and the hard points aren’t far behind there. I really think you could get away with not adding the 3M points but I trust they know what they are doing. I have had this set up on for a couple weeks trying to find the best set up for when I add my roadshower and ARB 2500. This has held up to 80mph+ interstate speeds with 0 problems, and surprisingly no noise!

It's called the "No drill" option because you don't have to drill holes at the very front of the rack like you do with others. You still use the existing 4 anchor points to bolt on the prinsu rack. So no, the whole rack definitely is not held on with 3m tape, just the very front for some added mounting points without having to drill holes.

Hey Reddy, can you tell me how much higher the rack is compared to the antenna in the rear. The image you provided is very helpful but appears to be at the front of the roof where the greatest difference between the roof and the top of the rack would be. This is not the same in the middle and rear of the roof, I am curious what the rack measures at it's highest point.

Like Keebler I have some height concerns and would want to still be able to pull into my garage with the rack and my 6" lift ;). If the height is comparable or only slightly higher than the antenna I should be golden

Finally got all 4 wheels put on after the dealer scratched the crap out of my freshly powder coated wheels a few weeks ago. Tech ran it through his machine as a 7" because I dropped them off in TRD boxes. Figured he would of known it was a trail wheel and 7.5"....anyway had to take it back to get re-powder coated. So glad this damn project is finally behind me....now just have to wait 3 weeks to get a reimbursement check.

Thank you....took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do. At the end of the day for fitment this is what I felt most comfortable with. I'm happy with how they turned out. Local place only charged $75 a wheel for the coating plus $40 for the center caps painted and clear coated.

I just assumed they were. There are some under your front windshield wipers too. Which makes me wonder if it makes it more complicated to get the windshield replaced?
