Kinda like posting your phone #.... there's just some info that I'm not comfy putting out there for all to see/abuse. I'ld like to think that this forum is safe... which it probably is.... but there are plenty of people out there looking for the smallest opening into personal data.

some of you may disagree but i installed the oem audio with dedicated sub amp and i love it. sure for the money you can get louder and for sure more bass but the install was easy i didnt have to hack anything up and the sub is super low key and doesn't impede load my rig with a ton of crap ill post some pic tonight. i will say with the new speakers in the rear door with bigger heavier magnets if you have a ladder installed you will need to get stronger door struts

Had our Matte bronze Stealth Custom Series Ray 10’s mounted, as well as a cornfed suspension 1” lift spacers installed. It totally changes the look of the Runner. Worth every penny. The 1” lift is very subtle but to me makes a big difference. 19E7839C-749B-4F86-A886-AE63B33EB082.jpgF4537BD8-844D-45C8-8B5D-E68E7F5C88A5.jpg

It’s not spam. I’m sorry you feel that way.

Power Folding Mirrors come in handy in tight places such as a small garage, parking lot, trails for off-roading, Car Wash (if you are one of those that use car washes :/), etc. This is a very convenient way that you will not need a passenger or a spotter to fold in your Passenger Mirror for you anymore. Or . . . personally, you having to put your 4Runner in park, get out, walk around to the other side, just to fold in the mirror yourself either. Who wouldn’t want to have this as an option? That’s why it’s on a lot of Luxury Vehicles.
I think until you have a set on one of your vehicles, you really do not understand what you are missing out on. I really didn’t mean any disrespect on popping in on a forum. I thought this forum was an open forum to what’s happening to 5th Gens today. It’s a really cool mod, but I totally understand if you aren’t into it. Plus I’m not a big company that’s just plugging my product. I’m just here offering a kit and a way that others that are interested can have this mod on their vehicle too and they don’t have to spend $1,000 doing it. I put a small kit together because they were crazy expensive and I found a way to make them affordable. That’s all. If you are interested. That’s cool. If you aren’t, you aren’t. I just wanted to make people aware. That’s all. Thank You!
    Definitely.

    Looks great!
Hey, come to think of it.
Ours are red. Time to tint that...

I like the clear look on a white T4R! Cleared out all the lights on my Supra. It looked beautiful.

With our black ours needs a little tint.

I put in a Kenwood DDX9705S and Maestro RR idatalink module so my wife can have CarPlay and so I can get OBD2 data if she calls me and says the check engine light came on.

Because living in Seattle it’s hard enough finding a parking spot to fit my rig. Nice not to worry about some yahoo wacking my mirrors with their doors or as they walk past, or parking in a garage with small places and concrete walls.

Love my Pioneer and CarPlay. Mine is also wireless so I don’t even need to pull my phone out. My “problem” was with having the dash kit painted. Where is you put your mic?

I mounted the mic at the top of the driver's A-pillar and ran the cable behind the weatherstripping seal. I wish I could get transmission temperature to show up on the gauges.

My budget was $400-$700 and I was looking for wireless CarPlay and a capacitive touch screen. The Alpine ILX-107 has both but no bluetooth, I think, and some reviews of the wireless connection said it takes another 15 seconds to sync with the phone. I decided to get a Kenwood with capacitive touch screen and wired CarPlay at the $500 price point. Now if I could just find a OEM fit subwoofer option. I had a JL Audio Stealthbox in a previous vehicle and it was fantastic. I'm not sure I want to drop that kind of cash on just a subwoofer box, though. They're about $700.

I’m trying to find the page for future buy ins but can’t find it. I see the build page but the guy is pretty adamant to not ask about being put on a list in the build post.

    Thanks!,
I was a little nervous because I have seen people unhappy with how stiff the OME has a reputation for being but it is really not bad. I am running the 2887 OME with 90010 shocks in the front, the 2898 OME with the 60081 shocks in the rear, the 95PF5 trim packer, the stone guards and the SPC 25480 Uppers. My Full skids and sliders should be here any day from BudBuilt as well. I got the heavier springs etc for all that weight. Right now it is a bit rougher than what it should be when all that is bolted up. The skids, sliders, tent etc, ends up at 600 lbs roughly. I piled some buddies in to test it (about 600 lbs of people) and it is a little stiffer than stock but not bad at all. I am really happy with the set up. The KDSS fought me the whole time, ESPECIALLY on the front.
