    Congratulations! I am jealous.
    I have seen different things about the skids.
    I assume they come just silver with the TRD stamped (the one @ my dealership was).
    Then you may add color or overlays to the TRD?
    I have seen red & black...
    I guess my question is, what did yours come looking like?

    If you order the CAI parts separately you can save 80 bucks mine was 205 without the filter with shipping and tax 250 not bad seeing I was going to pay 380 last month but decided to wait.. I called the dealer and they said no other offers will work since you're getting 40% off already

    i just ordered TRD Pro Wheels/Skid Plate/Shift knob locally. i dont think coupon "trdpro" works anymore. so i ordered locally and paid taxes. but.. it's still a great price :)

    The current OEM version has the red. The one without is discontinued but if you look online you can find it in some places but I'm not sure they can ship. If they're just a reseller who has Toyota drop ship you might be left hanging. Might want to try calling some local dealerships to see if they have the non red version.

    IMO your wife has a good eye. Check out RCI off roads aluminum skid or LFD off roads. Or just get the TRD one and paint or powder coat it black.

    Shipping charges got cazy. In the morning i put together all the parts for the CAI and shipping was going to be 400.00. Did it an hour later and shipping 240.00. Obviously dealers trying to make up the loss on the 40%. After going a couple of rounds with my conscious and seeing the coupon code for free shipping i was going to pull the trigger... then as it does Army happened and i had "urgent business " to tend. Scooby do a couple hours and the coupon code no longer worked, but shipping was now 40.00. Thinking some dealers got called out by corporate for the early shipping price scams. As it is they left a bad taste in peoples mouths. I understand that sales out paced expectations, but still.

    I don’t know if you can buy the fugly TRD snorkel and plus, The one they throw on the Pro’s is even fuglier than the ARB one.
