Yeah like @kbp810 said about 1/4” maybe a little less. Really impressed with the quality of the ones from madhornets.

I was pretty skeptical and was thinking I would probably have to send them back because they were going to be cheap. Was completely wrong though they are really solid quality.

I was actually at the Toyota dealership today getting an oil change and tires rotated and one of the guys working there saw mine and really liked it and wanted the website so he could buy one. I looked at a TRD Pro there at dealership and the gap on the Pro’s was pretty much the same as the one on my SR5 after I installed it.

Thanks for the feedback, will look more into the madhornets. Your rig still looks great with the grille. Whats the main issue with the center portion of the one you picked up? If you mentioned it somewhere else let me know.

Mainly the letters. The letters were not cut or molded cleanly, so they don't have very clean looking edges; and also they look as if they were rattle can painted (I had to touch them up; though I probably should have sanded them down and re-painted them). One of the O's doesn't sit flush, like it has a slight warp in it; a few of the others letters also didn't sit perfectly flush, but was far less obvious (kind of a have to point it out kind of thing). The "pins" on the back of each letter for lining them up were tiny, I didn't get a good feedback/feel for when they were in the hole... and to make things even worse, the holes were larger than they should have been, which means even with the pin in the hole, there was still a lot of room for user error with the alignment. I ended up using painters tape to create a template for where to line them up at; then I also added a dab of epoxy to each pin for extra adhesion. It's not that it's terrible, it's just that a few issues that I know are there, so it's bugging me. I don't mind imperfections, and I offroad often, so small dings and scratches don't bother me either. But with some things like this, I'd prefer it to at least "look" like it could have came from the factory that way.

I agree with you, when I buy something I expect it to be correctly made. I'm still driving my Taco, my wife has the 4Runner so it takes convincing to make any changes. Hoping to trade the Taco, get her a new 4Runner, and I get the ORP that she's driving. Then I still have to convince her that the mods I want to do to in are needed. Never ending cycle...

Today I had installed Bilstein 6112s, Bilstein 5160s, rear spring spacers, differential drop and had BFG KO2 ATs mounted! I already had the TRD wheels and I installed the C4 bolt on rock sliders two weeks ago. I did some minor interior things a while ago too. Think she came out ok!

Painted the roof rack end caps black and removed the SR5 badges. It left a pretty bad outline of the SR5 logo so I ordered some black SR5 emblems on eBay. Next is the trd grill and 5100s.

What’s the measurement of your front lift from center cap to bottom tip of the fender line? Including rear as well? Thanks!

The front is 37.75 and back is 37.5

Hoping the front settles a bit once I put some miles on it.

I appreciate it boss. That’s from the ground measurement right? The most accurate measurement is measure the center cap of the wheels to bottom tip of fender.

Was planning on doing this over the weekend, but went installed my fox 2.0's this evening. My goal was just to level the front. Out of the box they're supposed to be setup for 2" of lift; I was worried that might be too much. So before install, I compressed the springs and adjusted them down a bit on my workbench. Lowered the driver side by 1/4", and the passenger side by 7/16"(difference to help account for the lean). As of right now, it does seem to sit ever so slightly front high... but it should settle. Had I not adjusted them, it seems like they definitely would have turned out front high.

No full profile pics yet, will post one tomorrow. Hard to get a good full picture in the garage, and it's night out and pouring rain (with hail) outside right now, lol.

Hit the 1k mark on the odometer after a drive from Sacramento to Vegas yesterday. These are so comfortable to drive, I did 4+ hours before my wife finally asked to stop. With our previous road trip car, after 2 1/2 hours we were looking for any excuse to stop.

Actually everything made by Toyota is TRD Just doesn't have the overrated and overpriced Pro features. With that said, still not a fan though, remove badges, don't add more for no reason.

Went in for a front end alignment... and as a bonus I also got a free antenna alignment! (doh!). Had no idea they were going to run it through the car wash after the alignment, I guess one of the roller things caught it and ripped it off (had I known, I would have pulled it off prior). Thankfully no damage to my 4Runner, and they promptly compensated me for a new antenna.

Just for reference, the second picture is the antenna before.

No one hates pro owners. They're the exact same as every other 4Runner. Only thing about them that makes any difference at all when it comes to capability is lockers.

But I like my set and I've put the pro suspension and skid plate and figured it deserves a better badge than a regular sr5.

It's not hate, its jealousy. Hell, I haven't bought yet and the only way I can afford a pro is to sell my wife on the dark web:cheers:
