Looking at this 1999 limited with 190,xxx. Comes with rear locker as well. Only question I have is rust on the frame. Here are some pics the guy sent me. I haven't yet seen it in person. What's your opinions??

Is the vehicle far away? If not go look at it and take a ball peen hammer. Your not going to know how bad it is till your there in person. Check with him to see if it’s ok if you tap on the frame. If it is then get ready to get dirty and check as much of the frame as you can reach. If there are any holes rusted through you should probly walk away if he doesn’t want you to check it walk away. Good luck

it may also come down to how much you feel comfortable repairing as well. If your handy with a welder and have a lot of time or want to frame swap it then use that as a bargaining tool. It’s really up to what you feel comfortable dealing with.

It's about a three hour drive from me. Price is 3,000. Ah the joys of being in the salt belt.

Bummer. Guy had already done a bunch of work. Outside was in great shape. Brand new trans. Water pump and pulleys done 12k ago. Still think it may be worth a look. I'm pretty handy and don't mind getting my hands dirty a bit.

If that’s how you feel then go take a look! It may not be as a bad as it looks. Never know till you get there.

That's rather old I'd keep looking plenty of things out there newer. Difficult to ask or answer such a question we don't know your ability to buy something newer financially I mean.
