This is simplest truck ever made, it is EV sadly but its so basic. You can add all kinds of stuff, you can even wrap it in a color you want.

Would you purchase it over other EVs?

 

I like it. I think it will sell well based on how many people want mini trucks lately. Toyota’s Stout would be cool too.

 

If it comes out as promised I'm getting one. Though my money is on scope and feature creep such that by the time it actually gets delivered it will be more costly and more complex than what is promised here.


The business model seems to bank on making up the margins on the accessories and such. I hope they make it work.

 

I like that you don’t have to pay for features that you don’t want or need. That seems to be the complete opposite of what other manufacturers and dealers are doing. Maybe this truck will push Toyota to bring a version of this to the US.
