    Oooh look, another mod.....
Easter was always a special holiday to me growing up. I was raised in a strict Catholic household and Easter Sunday held a lot of reverence.

It was an all day affair in my family. We'd go to church, then Sunday School/Bible School, then we'd go to the Easter egg hunt and spend the day with family and friends of family. The night before was fun too, because my family would spend all day boiling eggs, then dipping them in the colored dyes and then we'd put those plastic sleeves on them. The ones with Christian sayings on them. Sometimes we even made our own baskets for the eggs.

My current next door neighbor (a great guy) puts a big cross in his front yard every Easter weekend "He has risen!"

Ya, I usually take the day off from trout fishing. Try not to kill anything on Easter.

    Happy Resurrection Day!

Matthew 28:5-6 – But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said.”
