It varies. They price it based on miles driven, number of trucks/people involved, etc. It's said to be reasonable compared to other towing services.

 

I feel like they do it gratis. There's another YouTube channel that breaks down what sort of money various YouTubers make from monetized channels and IIRC Matt was over a million a year. At that rate the tow customers aren't so much customers as they are the work product.

 

For a successful channel like this doing it for free is probably cheaper than trying to deal with the insurance companies if customer cannot pay for it, considering the legal hot water Matt landed in a few years back trying to help customers out with their insurance claims
